Friskis&Svettis Göteborg is recruiting an operations manager with responsibility for leading, developing and following up the association's operations with a focus on growth, member satisfaction and quality training. The position covers 12 facilities in Gothenburg, Mölndal and Mölnlycke, with office support from a team of six people.
About the roles
As head of operations, you lead the work according to the board's mission and drive development to get more Gothenburgers on the move. The assignment combines value-driven association life with business responsibility - always with people at the center.
Your mission - main responsibilities
- Manage and develop the association based on goals and mission
- Responsible for business planning, budget and performance (P&L)
- Managing staff and volunteers with a focus on engagement, work environment and culture
- Drive growth, membership recruitment and development of the training offer
- Ensure the quality and operation of the association's 12 sites
- Developing cooperation with landlords, partners and local actors
- Communicating the association's vision internally and externally

You are a confident and inspiring leader who can switch between strategy and operational implementation. You thrive on leading through others, building relationships and creating engagement - and you have a clear interest in exercise, health and community development.
Qualifications:
- Proven management experience with budget and staff responsibilities
- Used to running revenue-focused business with long-term stability
- Understanding of association governance and volunteer engagement
- Experience in business development and member-focused work
- Strong communicator and relationship builder
- Academic training is an advantage
