After an extensive renovation, Apollo Sports reopens its Monte Feliz hotel in Gran Canaria - with upgraded rooms, new training facilities and an expanded schedule of instructor-led classes. The hotel is the only dedicated fitness hotel on the island and now also offers HYROX licensed classes for all levels.
Complete renovation with training profile
Monte Feliz has undergone a total transformation. Rooms and bathrooms have been modernized, the pool area has been given a facelift with a new deep end and a 25-metre swimming lane, and the hotel's restaurant and common areas have been updated for a more holistic holiday experience.
"Monte Feliz is the only hotel in Gran Canaria that truly combines comfort, quality and training at the highest level. With upgraded rooms, modern facilities and even better training opportunities, we offer guests a complete vacation experience, whether the goal is recovery, activity or both," says Daniel Giray, Sports Director at Apollo Sports.
First-class training opportunities
The hotel offers both indoor and outdoor gyms equipped with Casall PRO, TechnoGym and Concept2, as well as daily group exercise classes with professional instructors. The offer ranges from yoga, padel and tennis to cycling, swimming and functional strength - with over 20 classes per day.
From December, HYROX licensed classes will also be launched, making Monte Feliz one of the first hotels in the region to offer the concept in a training environment.
"The hotel is unique in its wide range of training programs for all levels. Everyone's vacation needs are met here, whether you're an elite athlete, a casual exerciser or an active family," says Giray.
Active holidays all year round
Outside the hotel, Gran Canaria's renowned running, cycling, swimming and hiking opportunities await - in a climate that makes exercise possible all year round. In the evenings, guests gather on the restaurant's terrace for good food and socializing, an important part of Apollo Sports' active wellness concept.
The hotel's location also makes it easy to explore the island. The sand dunes of Maspalomas are a short drive south, while Las Palmas offers shopping, restaurants and culture for those who want to vary their training week with excursions.
