Twiik releases major update to its online and hybrid training app platform

Twiik has now released the final installment in a series of updates that together form a major refresh of the company's digital and hybrid training app platform that helps trainers and gyms effectively offer their clients digital training services.

The update is collectively known as v5.5 and includes several major improvements, including in the TeamBoost business service and in how customers experience online coaching and Twiik's format for online bootcamps.

The market for digital training continues to grow, both in Sweden and internationally. Twiik already works with customers such as Friskis & Svettis, Actic, Fitness 24 Seven and 16 Weeks of Hell, among others. Twiik offers interactive, digital training services together with a technology platform to distribute this - wherever, whenever and however.

Twiik has now released the last of three parts in a major platform update. The update, collectively known as V5.5, includes several upgrades both in terms of new features and user experience improvements.

"V5.5 is a release we've been working on for a long time with features requested by both consumers and creators. It is also our biggest update in a long time. Several improvements have been made both in the architecture and in the user experience, which has sharpened both quality and scalability, while laying an important foundation for future products" says Alexander Cugler, system architect at Twiik.

More upgrades on the way

In the context of v5.5 and the mobile apps, more than 100 new additions have been made. In parallel, Twiik's web platform and back-end are being developed, with a major update planned for the first half of 2023.

Overall, Twiik continues to develop the platform with a focus on digital training experiences and interactive training services - both its own concepts such as TeamBoost as well as concepts created by gyms, individual trainers and training concepts.

"We will become the world leader in digital, interactive training experiences and our technology platform is already one of the strongest in the market today. Twiik is established with both turnkey services and technology for gyms and creators to offer digital training and monetize it and with this release we have taken another big step forward. I'm extremely proud of the team working hard to make it happen." Says Anders Gran, CEO at Twiik.
