Optishake gears up - raises new capital and expands to the UK

Nordic FitTech company Optishake continues to grow and is now entering the UK market. With over 270 installations and rapidly growing revenues, the company aims to set a new standard for fitness drinks in gyms.

Optishake, which places smart beverage machines directly in fitness environments, has recently closed its "Lift-Off" funding round. The capital will be used for the next phase of the company's expansion, with a focus on the UK and several major Nordic gym chains.

Growing demand in the gym environment

The service offers pre-mixed, chilled workout drinks to be consumed before, during or after exercise. With over two million drinks served and 270 active installations in five countries, Optishake believes a new category of exercise nutrition is being established.

"We've proven that what we've built creates real value - both for gyms and for their members. There is nothing like it on the market. We've taken off - and now there are no limits," said Joonas Kiminki, Founder and CEO of Optishake.

Growth and business model

Optishake reports a strong performance in 2025:

- Consumer sales have increased by over 50% in the last five months
- Annual recurring revenue expected to pass the €1 million mark by the end of the year
- Forecast for 2025 is €1.4 million, with a target of €10 million by 2028

According to the company, this growth is linked to a business model based on digital monitoring of machine operations, subscription-based beverages and a solution to make installations reliable and cost-effective.

Optishake's long-term goal is to become the preferred solution for workout drinks in gyms - also internationally. In parallel with the expansion, the company is developing a digital ecosystem that connects training environments with nutrition solutions in real time.
